Competence certificates

Competence certificates issued by the Norwegian Council of Concrete Competence document that a person’s skills and qualifications with respect to concrete work meet the qualification requirements set out in the standard. Certificates are issued for various roles involved in producing and transporting concrete, in-situ concrete works, precast concrete assembly, sprayed concrete, concrete repair and quality control of aggregates. The Council has been issuing certificates since the late 1990s, and it is now well-established in the industry. As such, it is a good way to document your qualifications. Most competence classes require a combination of educational qualifications, practical work experience and courses. Educational qualifications from countries other than Norway may need to be approved by NOKUT.Currently we issue plastic cards, but in the future they will be stored on a digital platform that is yet to be confirmed.
